This is where I have decided that the 16mm / foot becomes a major task, as I would like to build some structures from small bricks. In the picture the top left brick shows a marked box, this would be actual scale, my bricks are 20mm x 10mm x 10mm.
They are made in a mould, 20 at a time, from cement and at the moment I am experimenting with colour, using pigments, so far I have not tried building with them , that's the next step when I have produced enough.
This is my thinking why scale can be put aside here, doors and windows will be to scale , only the bricks will be too big, but my buff coloured ones would be about the right size for stone buildings like churches , some civic buildings are from stone blocks etc. Also a lot of old coach house inns are painted white , so does it realy matter if I am going to white wash the walls ?
